The following are the requirements for the position of AET for Kasama city’s elementary and junior high schools. 

  1. Employment period
      From April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024

  2. Working place
      Kasama city’s elementary and junior high schools

  3. Duties
      Assist with English guidance in Kasama city elementary and junior high schools

  4. Working days / hours
      5 days a week (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)
      ※There may be cases where you work at school events.
      8:00 to 16:15 as a standard (actual work 7.5 hours, break 45 minutes)

  5. Requirements
      (1)  Nationality other than Japanese and capability of teaching English in elementary or juniorhigh schools.
      (2)  Applicants must be university graduates.
      (3)  Communicative ability at about JLPT3 (Japanese Language Proficiency 3).
      (4)  Applicants should possess Japanese or valid International driver’s license and also should have a car.
      (5)  Applicants must have a resident card or alien registration card.

  6. Number of Positions
      A limited number of positions will be offered.

  7. Remunerations
      (1)  300,000 yen per month (first year)
      (2)  Commutation allowance is paid under specified conditions.

      to January 20 (by 5pm), 2023. Any applications after the closing date will not be accepted. The office is closed on Saturday,
      Sunday, and holidays.

             Please submit your application form or resume in both English and Japanese versions.
      (2)  Copy of your post graduate diploma
      (3)  Copy of passport (photo page and visa page)
      (4)  Copy of your resident card or alien registration card
      (5)  Cover letter explaining why you are interested in the position
      (6)  Two photographs (passport size:4.cm×3.cm)
      (7)  Health report
      (8)  Please list your certificates and qualifications on your resume or in the appropriate column on the application form
             and attach a copy
            ＊If the COVID-19 situation worsens, applicants will be asked to send a video of demo lesson.

  9. Interviews
     ・Interviews to be held on February 15, 2023 ( at Kasama City Board of Education )
            ＊If the COVID-19 worsens, interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
     ・Interviews will include a 5 minute demo lesson
